Bride of the Month for July 2010: Brooke Sadler

Meant to Be Some couples find each other by chance and others are just meant to be. I think that my niece and her fiancé were one of those meant to be couples. Oh yes, they have lots in common now but how about before birth?? It seems my niece Brooke and her fiancé Cory had a connection even before they were thought about. Both sets of parents went to the same high school, at the same time without even knowing their lives would be paralleled once they had children. It turns out that both Mother’s to be, were given care by the same Doctors and were delivered by the same Dr. at the same hospital. Now of course Brooke and Cory didn’t fall in love in the nursery because there is a difference in when they were born but it seems they were destined to go to school together and ended up in the same Kindergarten class. In looking at pictures of those pre-school days you will see proud pictures of him, with her in the background. So all through elementary school they were in and out of each others lives without even knowing it. After a brief separation during middle school, they found their way back to intertwine in high school having classes together once more. It seems young Cory was smitten with the fair young Brooke and their first date was Homecoming dance in high school.
Since that date they have been together, falling in love, dating all though high school and eventually going to the same college. They even lived in the same dorm. Both pursued degree’s in the field of medicine, with Brooke earning her degree in nursing, becoming an RN, now working in a hospital caring for sick children and Cory earning his degree in Athletic Training and now on to graduate school to become a Physicians Assistant. The stone was cast it seems when after graduation from college Cory planned a romantic cruise and proposed to Brooke on the cruise ship proclaiming his love and his longing to be with her for! the rest of their lives and she said YES! Rose petals had a special meaning for the two, and Brooke had always been Cory’s Princess so when he proposed he had planned a special way. Complete with rose petals, champagne, and a glass slipper that proclaimed her to be his Cinderella forever. A special engraving that was meant only for her. Now as the time comes for their special day lots of planning and details to attend. Their day should be as special as the two of them and as amazing as their love for each other. And I have no doubt they will live happily ever after.
